Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is a First Nations-governed educational institution, one of only four credit-granting post-secondary institutions in the province- and the only credit granting Indigenous institution. SIIT provides adult learners with academic, vocational and technical training as well as services and supports for employment and career growth. Indigenous learners are at the core of SIIT, representing approximately 95% of the student body.

Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre
The first Indian controlled Health Centre in Canada was recently opened in the city of North Battleford, Saskatchewan. The opening of the Battlefords Indian Health Centre represents over 15 years of discussions, negotiations, confrontation and further negotiations by the Indian people in an attempt to maintain and improve health services for Indian people in the North Battleford District.

Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs Inc. Community Development Corporation
Historically, BATC was created to facilitate advisory services to the areas of, housing (community planning), economic development, band governance (development of policies and procedures), financial management, justice, and sports and recreation. Social development, employment and training, industry relations, and investments have been added to the list of services to date.

Indigenous Works is an Indigenous-led organization governed by a board of directors (Indigenous-majority governance) including private sector businesses, NGOs, Indigenous economic development corporations and independent directors. We operate as an Indigenous social enterprise and non-profit business that is supported by fees from our community of Employer Partners, training, and consulting services.
